The Wizards Are Missing Out On Something Good
While the Washington Wizards are at home and watching the playoffs with their fans, you have to be wondering how would the Wizards fare in the postseason with this competition. The NBA Playoffs have been really good thus far to say the least. Like many theories and ideas in life, most predictions change over time. Before the regular season started, I had the LA Clippers and Milwaukee Bucks as my NBA Finals Prediction. It’s really tough to play against two wing all star players in Kawhi Leonard and Paul George. Injuries got the best of them.
Once the playoffs started, I then changed my Finals pick to the Milwaukee Bucks and Phoenix Suns. The addition of Kevin Durant has stretched their title run out a little further and I don’t see many teams being able to stop Durant and Devin Booker. Thus far, I did miss my prediction with the Milwaukee Bucks. They didn’t have an answer for Miami Heat All Star Jimmy Butler and Khris Middleton still isn’t 100% healthy.
My updated NBA Finals Prediction is now the Boston Celtics vs. Phoenix Suns. This should be a great series because there are a lot of stars on both sides as well as experience as these two teams have both recently been to the NBA Finals and loss. But how did the Washington Wizards do against these two powerhouses?
Wizards vs. Celtics
The Wizards struggled a bit against the Celtics this season as the Celtics won the regular season series 2-1. Matching up against a duo of Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown is no walk in the park. No matter the case, neither team really concerned themselves defensively as both teams won a game in the series with 130 points scored as a team.
Wizards vs. Suns
The Wizards actually owned the Phoenix Suns during the regular season as they swept them in the season series 2-0. This sweep doesn’t come as a surprise as the Suns struggled early on in the season as they had multiple injuries. They are now a different team and have been transformed into a title contender. It’s safe to say that Kevin Durant saved their season.
