With the trade deadline now passed the Washington Wizards season is more than half over.

On a seven-game losing streak the Wizards are now sitting at 9-44 and only half a game above the league's worst record.

Looking forward to the draft and possibly getting the number one pick is something that Washington fans can look forward too.

This week we take a dive into a 6'8" forward from France, Zaccharie Risacher.

Risacher is 18 years old and is currently playing for JL Bourg-en-Bresse in the French LNB pro A league.

Averaging 11.4 points per game at an efficient 54 percent shooting with three rebounds and a block.

He is one of the better shooters that is in the lottery conversation and is hitting three-pointers at a 46 percent clip.

Risacher is a great perimeter defender that uses his length to contest jump shots.

Any time you see a forward that can stretch the floor with shooting and also play defense at an elite level they usually slide into the NBA with relative ease.

Risacher wasn't known to be a great shooter originally and his 69 percent free throw percentage doesn't match up with his three-point percentage but the improvements he has made this season has him rising up draft boards.

Seeing big improvements like that should open eyes as its clear Risacher works extremely hard to better his game.

He doesn't look like a great rebounder or elite playmaker from his stats but has shown flashes of that he can be both and has the size and skill to become one.

An NBA comparison I could see is someone like Denver Nuggets forward Michael Porter Jr. with better defense.

Risacher isn't the best fit for Washington, but his ceiling and talent is truly captivating enough they could take a swing at him.

Next week we will take a look into another big forward in G-League Ignites' Matas Buzelis.
