The Washington Wizards (3-14) have some hard decisions on the horizon when it comes to figuring out what path they want to walk in franchise building.

While Wizards fans anxiously - and at times frustratingly - watch the development and setbacks of their favorite franchise, the NBA isn’t having the forward thinking issues we’ve seen from the team thus far.

On Tuesday, the league is taking the next step in giving Washington fans and NBA enthusiasts everywhere a new way to watch the game.

“Nike Air Time takes fandom beyond the court and into basketball culture,” says NBA.com. “The new live NBA broadcast features the voices, athletes, gear and stories that have shaped the fans’ love for hoops — all in the NBA App.”

To celebrate the advancement in broadcast approaches employed by the NBA the league is hosting a watch party in New York during November 28th’s matchup between the Chicago Bulls (5-13) and the Boston Celtics (13-4).

For fans of basketball watching from home, simply link your NBA ID and Nike accounts and members will get a free preview of League Pass to catch the all-new way of watching the game.

While the Bulls and Celtics get first crack at being watched in this new and exciting way the Wizards will surely get their opportunity sooner or later.

And who knows, by then it may be a contest worth watching for the game, and not just the technological advantages in sports and broadcasting entertainment.
