Buying real estate in any part of the world is a huge accomplishment. It’s something to feel happy and proud about. It’s something that should make you feel good about yourself. When you get in that home, one day you may decide to do a few home projects. You may want to renovate your home to your liking. It’s always good to stay up to date with appliances so that you can be cost effective and make life easier for yourself.

The offseason was certainly a home project for the Washington Wizards. They did a lot of renovating. This team is young but have a lot of hope for the future. The one thing that they are missing is an explosive point guard to run the show for them. The Milwaukee Bucks fixed that problem yesterday by trading for Damian Lillard with efforts to put them back in championship contention.

Having a good and explosive lead guard in the NBA can be compared to having an elite quarterback in the NFL. If you don’t have an elite quarterback in the NFL, more than likely you’re not a good team and you won’t be a playoff team either. If you look around the league in the NBA, everyone who is considered a contender have the point guard position figured out. The Denver Nuggets have Nikola Jokic who does it all on the floor. That earned them a championship.

We seen the success Lebron James and Steph Curry has had over the years. They have won titles too. You have to figure out the point guard position in the NBA. That is the home project the Washington Wizards are yet to address. Sure, the addition of Tyus Jones is going to play huge dividends for this team. He is a very serviceable lead guard. You can liken him to a game manager quarterback in the NFL. The Wizards will appreciate his services this year. But they will realize they need a star at that position. We can expect the Wizards to find their star point guard in next year’s draft for sure as that should be next on the to do list of home renovations.
