In the NBA, the league always seems to look like a brotherhood. We see guys hugging and dapping each other up before and after games. Even after losses, they’re engaged in those moments. Ultimately, they may even decide to go out to dinner afterwards or even to a bar or nightclub.

However, there are times when that doesn’t always happen. Sometimes, you can kind of just tell and know if and when there's a true beef between individuals. You may recall the moments between Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook after Durant left Russ and the OKC Thunder to team up with Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors right after they beat them in the playoffs. Of course, there’s Shaq and Kobe when they had their heated moments too.

Sometimes in life, people can get into situations where they are guilty by association. When you’re hanging out with someone that one person doesn’t particularly care for, you may have their back through thick and thin and defend them when prompted. You’re guilty by association at that point. The Wizards acquired Jordan Poole this past summer and now they are guilty by association. Damian Lillard of the Milwaukee Bucks doesn’t like Jordan Poole at all.

Check out the video to hear Lillard explain his interactions with Poole.

The competitive spirits in Jordan Poole kicked in as Damian Lillard explained the trash talking Poole has done is the reason why he doesn’t like him. Both Poole and Lillard are with their new teams but the old foe relationship may still be there. We will find out next week if this results in a new rivalry between the Milwaukee Bucks and Washington Wizards as the teams match-up against each other on Monday, November 20 and Friday, November 24.
