Kristaps Porzingis has been known as the Unicorn and rightfully so. The man is a walking giant. Standing at seven feet tall and three inches, Kristaps Porzingis is often the tallest guy on the court for both teams. He normally is the tallest guy on his respected teams too. His height isn’t the reason they call him the unicorn.

What he does on the floor is rare, especially for a man of that size. He shoots the ball with the best of them. He probably is a top ten shooting big man of all time. He defends the paint extremely well as well. Players are often thinking twice as they try to attack the basket on him. He has a nice post game as well. That turn around fadeaway shot is something special. KP is also a good rebounder when he’s focused on it.

He was extremely helpful for the Wizards last season. He may be called the unicorn for a number of different reasons. However, one major reason is the fact that he is rarely seen on the court. He played in 65 games last season. That is the most games he’s played in an entire season since his sophomore year in the NBA in 2016.

They say one man’s trash is another man’s treasure. In this instance, one man’s misfortune is another man’s misfortune as well while the Boston Celtics will have to deal with his health issues now. Kristaps Porzingis is hurt yet again with a foot injury. At the moment, they’re saying he will be ready for the NBA regular season. However, the Latvian FIBA Olympic Basketball team will be suffering as he has been ruled out of the World Cup games. They say the best ability is availability. The Wizards surely made the right decision moving on from Kristaps Porzingis.
