Indeed, it has been a very busy day in the wonderful world of sports. Today was the NFL Trade Deadline. The Washington Wizards watched the team in which they share this city with make some moves on their roster as both Montez Sweat and Chase Young were traded today. Even in the NBA, a team just up highway I-95 in the Philadelphia 76ers made a move to ship James Harden away to the West Coast to the LA Clippers.

Today, the Wizards made some moves of their own but in a different fashion. The Wizards like what they got going on in The District. As a matter of fact, they like the way things are going so much, they decided to keep this party going and to even reward a few key pieces to their team. Corey Kispert, Johnny Davis, and Patrick Baldwin Jr have all had their team options accepted in their contracts.

Both Johnny Davis and Corey Kispert are very significant pieces to this puzzle in Washington with the Wizards. Johnny Davis was brought here to possibly be the replacement of Bradley Beal. The Wizards knew the days of Bradley Beal would soon be coming to an end. Johnny Davis was drafted number 10 overall in the 2022 NBA Draft. The Wizards have big plans for Davis.

Meanwhile, Corey Kispert is one of the best reserve players in the NBA today. He is a player that the Washington Wizards need to be aggressive every night and look to score the basketball. Patrick Baldwin Jr. is another player the Wizards need particularly on the defensive end. The Wizards made good deals today in the NBA.
