Wizards Injury Report Update
The Wizards have announced that All Star guard Bradley Beal was diagnosed with a low-grade left hamstring strain after undergoing an MRI examination. The injury occurred in the second quarter of Tuesday’s game at Milwaukee.
Beal will be out for the team’s next three games and will be re-evaluated in one week. He will miss games against the Oklahoma City Thunder, New Orleans Pelicans, and the Chicago Bulls before he is re-evaluated.
The All-Star guard has been dealing with illness and injuries throughout the season. Beal has been out due to COVID-19, right thigh contusion, and a right hamstring injury.
Bradley Beal’s teammates, peers, and coaches often mention that not only is he the best scorer on the Wizards, he is also one of the best in the league. He’s currently averaging 23 points per game. Despite his scoring ability, some say the best ability is availability. Beal has not been available consistently this season.
While the team has seen some success when Brad is unavailable, it is hard to imagine the team can get very far without their best player on the court. The Wizards roster has been up and down all season with various players injured. Unfortunately, Beal has been one of the more consistent names on the injury report.
More to come on Beal’s injury when he is evaluated again next week.
