The Washington Wizards have been busy leading up to Thursday's NBA Draft, and it turns out one former All-Star guard exchange just wasn't enough.

On Thursday ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported the completion of the Wizards' deal sending Bradley Beal to the Phoenix Suns

As it's been reported previously Washington received six second-round picks, four pick swaps, cash, and guards Chris Paul and Landry Shamet while sending Beal, Isaiah Todd, and Jordan Goodwin to the Suns.

Paul said earlier this week on Good Morning America that he found out about the trade on his way to his appearance there and was surprised to hear about the news.

But before he ever got a chance to debut for the Wizards it turns out he's been involved in another deal that will keep him on Pacific time for a while longer.

"ESPN Sources: The Washington Wizards are finalizing a deal to send Chris Paul to the Golden State Warriors for a package that includes Jordan Poole and future draft assets," Wojnarowski tweeted Thursday.

The Warriors will receive the 38-year-old guard and are sending Washington a 2030 protected first-round pick and a 2027 second-round pick.

After this most recent deal, the Wizards have now traded away Beal, Paul, and forward Kristaps Porzingis while acquiring Shamet, former Grizzlies guard Tyus Jones, former Celtics players Danilo Gallinari and Mike Muscala, and plenty of future draft capital.

Washington has made quite the effort to start over and establish a path for future growth, and with the eighth overall pick in Thursday night's NBA Draft, there's more opportunity remaining for additional moves.

Stay tuned.
