Drew Brees, SI's Sportsman of the Year, has had quite a prolific NFL career. Here's a look at some of the highlights in numbers, beginning with his 5.069 passing yards in 2008, which made him only the second NFL quarterback, after Dan Marino, to throw for over 5,000 yards in a single season. That same year, he also threw a career-high 34 touchdowns passes.

70.62% -- The best single-season completion percentage in NFL history. Brees set the record in 2009, just before he had a 82.1 completion percentage in the Super Bowl, the second-best mark in Super Bowl history. Brees achieved this mark in 2009.

32 -- Drew Brees tied Tom Brady's Super Bowl record with 32 completions (on 39 attempts) during the Saints' 31-17 victory over the Indianapolis Colts.
