Lou Groza's 16-yard field goal with 28 seconds left gives Browns a 30-28 win over the L.A. Rams in NFL Championship Game in franchise's first season in NFL. Otto Graham throws three TD passes.

Playing his final game, Otto Graham throws for 209 yards and two TDs and runs for two more as Browns rout the Rams 38-14 for their second straight NFL title and third in six years. Don Paul sets a championship game record by returning an interception 65 yards for a score.

Browns stun the favored Colts 27-0 for the NFL championship as quarterback Frank Ryan throws three second-half TD passes to wide receiver Gary Collins. Jim Brown runs for 114 yards in winning his lone NFL title.

Mark Moseley hits a game-winning field goal to conclude the second longest game in NFL history and the Browns knock off the New York Jets 23-20 to advance to the 1986 AFC Championship Game.

In first of back-to-back AFC championship game losses to Denver, Browns surrender a 98-yard scoring drive in the final minutes before losing 23-20 in overtime on Rick Karlis' 33-yard field goal. Denver quarterback John Elway ties the game with 37 seconds left in regulation on a 5-yard TD pass to Mark Jackson to cap off what will forever be remembered as The Drive.
