Former Auburn football star Bo Jackson isn't worried about the negative reports about his alma mater.

The 1985 Heisman Trophy winner dismissed allegations made in two separate reports this week.

Jackson is in his hometown to serve as grand marshal of Sunday's IndyCar Grand Prix of Alabama.

ESPN The Magazine reported that Auburn covered up widespread use of synthetic marijuana by football players dating back to the 2010 national championship season. A report on the website run by former Sports Illustrated and New York Times reporter Selena Roberts posted another story quoting former players alleging grade changes and improper payments.

Jackson says he "wouldn't give those accusations the time of day" and says athletic director Jay Jacobs' responses said what needed to be said.
