The Colts might not get a game-changing effort from Bjoern Werner on every single play. But when the athletic 6-foot-3 defender revs up his motor ... look out.

Werner was part of a sensational 1-2 pass-rushing punch at Florida State with Tank Carradine, who figures to come off the board in Round 2. Werner compiled 13.0 sacks last season to give him 23.5 in his college career.

The argument could be made that Werner is a better fit as a defensive end in a 4-3 than as a piece in a 3-4, like Indianapolis runs -- some experts have argued that Werner can only play in a 4-3, in fact. However, Werner's all-around game, speed and still-developing knowledge of the game put him in position to be a nice project for the Vikings.

Where he'll play in Indianapolis is a bit up in the air, but the outside linebacker spot could be a better call than 3-4 DE.

Grade: B.
