The Miami Dolphins' second-round pick at No. 54 overall was supposed to be the piece that landed them OT Branden Albert in a trade with Kansas City. But when that 54th selection rolled around, the Dolphins stepped to the podium and took cornerback Jamar Taylor ... leaving everyone to wonder if Albert might stick with the Chiefs.

NFL.com speculates this "doesn't mean this story is done", suggesting the Dolphins still could send a 2014 pick to Kansas City for its franchise-tagged player. Up until this point, the Chiefs reportedly had held rather firm in asking for the higher of Miami's two second-rounders, which the Dolphins swung to Oakland so they could take Dion Jordan at No. 3.

The Chiefs used the No. 1 overall pick on tackle Eric Fisher, who will take over one of the team's two tackle spots. Should Kansas City opt to just hold onto Albert, Andy Reid would have a sensational set of bookends on his offensive line -- and that's despite the Chiefs cutting Eric Winston earlier in the offseason.
