Calvin Johnson had five more receptions and 151 more yards in the first half of his Week 8 duel with Dallas' Dez Bryant. But Bryant matched Megatron through two quarters in the only place it mattered: on the scoreboard.
Johnson staked Detroit a 7-3 lead with a four-yard TD catch -- which came after an 87-yard catch-and-run by Johnson that set up the Lions with a 1st-and-goal. He headed to halftime with six catches for 156 yards.
Bryant's lone grab before the break came from five yards out, with a pair of defenders all over him. On a 3rd-and-goal, Tony Romo threw a jump ball in Bryant's direction, and the Dallas wide receiver leaped over rookie CB Darius Slay to secure a ridiculous one-handed touchdown catch, just before safety Glover Quin arrived with help for Slay.
