Tight end Michael Hoomanawanui will remain with the New England Patriots after agreeing to a two-year deal Monday, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL.com.
Hoomanawanui saw increased action with the Patriots last season while Rob Gronkowski dealt with injuries to his arm and knee that limited him to seven games.
The fourth-year player pulled in 12 receptions for 136 yards and one touchdown for the Patriots last season, his most productive year since his rookie campaign with the St. Louis Rams.
