Justin Tuck will likely return to the Giants after testing free agency.

Despite testing free agency, two-time Pro Bowler and Giants defensive end Justin Tuck is expected to remain in New York for next season and possibly for the duration of his career.

Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk.com cites a league source who says that Tuck, who turns 31 at the end of the month, will likely return to New York.

According to the report, Tuck could have signed elsewhere for $3 million but is inclined to remain in New York. The All-Pro defensive end had 11 sacks, two forced fumbles and an interception last season and has won two Super Bowls with the Giants.

Tuck officially joined 25 other Giants who became free agents on Tuesday, but as Jordan Ranaan of NJ.com reported, the Giants may have illegally reached out to him prior to Saturday's "legal tampering" window to make an offer to their defensive end, furthering speculation that he will remain in New York.
