On Wednesday, news surfaced that free agent quarterback Michael Vick was willing to wait until after the 2014 NFL draft to sign with a new team, but that hasn't turned off any potential suitors, and one team remains very much in the mix for the veteran signal-caller.
Now that Josh McCown is off the market, there is a huge drop off in talent after Vick and the New York Jets are interested in bringing him to town.
According to the New York Post, Vick remains the Jets top choice at quarterback and they are willing to wait until he is ready to agree on a deal.
Vick has some familiarity with Jets offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg from his time with the Philadelphia Eagles, so the two should have a connection that allows Vick to immediately have a grasp of the offense.
