The wide receiver market in free agency has been slow to develop, with a number of quality players at the position still available, including Sidney Rice. However, Rice's market appears to be picking up, and at least two teams are reportedly showing interest.
According to reports, the New York Jets and New Orleans Saints are among those who are considering adding Rice's services.
The Jets signed Eric Decker last week, but they still could improve their receiving corp by adding a big-bodied receiver. The Saints would be looking to add depth behind Marques Colston and Kenny Stills.
Any contract with Rice comes with the obvious risk of injury, given his history. Rice has played in 16 games just twice in his seven-year career and missed the second half of the 2013 season after tearing his ACL in October.
