Johnny Manziel's favorite target Mike Evans is among the top wide receivers available in the 2014 NFL draft.

The New York Jets have been struggling to improve their secondary during the offseason, but they are hard at working improving on the offensive side of the ball and adding weapons on the outside that will allow quarterback Geno Smith to get more comfortable under center.

After signing former Denver Broncos wide receiver Eric Decker last week, the Jets are exploring their options in the NFL draft and will bring Texas A&M wide receiver Mike Evans in for a visit, according to Tony Pauline of DraftInsider.net.

There are questions about whether or not Decker can be a true No. 1 receiver in the NFL, but Evans, at 6-foot-5 and 225 pounds, has the size to be a true threat in the red zone and the speed to stretch the field and become a deep threat.

If Evans is able to shine in the NFL like he did during his time with the Aggies -- Evans caught 151 passes for 2,499 yards and 17 scores in two season at Texas A&M -- the Jets could finally have the top receiver they have been lacking for years.
