The Tampa Bay Buccaneers continued a busy offseason Thursday, signing cornerback Mike Jenkins to a one-year deal. Jenkins is the tenth unrestricted free agent the Bucs have signed since the start of the new league year.
Jenkins spent last season in Oakland, where he started 15 games, recording 57 tackles and two interceptions. Before that, he spent five seasons with the Dallas Cowboys, making a Pro Bowl appearance in 2009. In his career, Jenkins has started 63 games, amassing 226 tackles, 10 interceptions, 46 passes defensed and two forced fumbles.
