Report: NFL draft prospect Taylor Lewan to be charged in fight

Former Michigan offensive tackle and NFL draft prospect Taylor Lewan will be arraigned on three misdemeanor charges stemming from a Dec. 1 assault in Ann Arbor, reports Kyle Feldscher of MLive.com.
According to the report, Lewan faces a charge of aggravated assault and two charges of assault and battery. His arraignment is set for April 8.
A fight was reported outside the Brown Jug restaurant near Michigan's campus the night of the Wolverines game against rival Ohio State. Lewan is the only individual facing charges from the fight.
Lewan started 48 games at left tackle in his Michigan career and was named the Big Ten Offensive Lineman of the Year in 2012 and 2013. He was a first-team All-America selection in 2012.

Lewan has repeatedly denied that he was involved in the incident.
"I'm not going to get into too many details," Lewan told the Arizona Republic in December. "I wasn't in any fight. I didn't hit anybody. I was really just trying to help out a situation and break up something. I can't really go into any more details than that. I'm sure the truth will come out, and it'll all work out."
