2014 NFL draft rumors: Atlanta Falcons schedule private workout with Anthony Barr

It has been pretty clear for quite some time that the Atlanta Falcons have interest in improving on defense, so it's no surprise they are looking into all of the top defenders in this year's draft class.
As part of that consideration, the Falcons will bring in UCLA linebacker Anthony Barr for a private workout, according to Vaugn McClure of ESPN.com.
Atlanta is expected to strongly consider South Carolina defensive end Jadeveon Clowney, Buffalo linebacker Khalil Mack and Barr. While the Falcons would likely prefer landing Clowney or Mack, both could be gone before Atlanta makes its first-round selection at the No. 6 slot. In that instance, Barr would be a great fall-back option -- especially with the team's transition to a 3-4 defense
There is no date set for Barr's visit with the Falcons, but it is expected to happen by the end of March.
If Barr falls past the Falcons, the Tennessee Titans could be the next best fit for the two-time first team All-Pac 12 selection.
