Despite interest from a handful of teams throughout the league, free agent tight end Jermichael Finley has yet to find a home for the 2014 season. Finley, a former member of the Green Bay Packers, suffered what many believed to be a possible career ending neck injury last season, but the Pro Bowl tight end is confident he'll be able to resume football activity moving forward.

According to the Miami Herald, Finley is receiving interest from the Miami Dolphins, who, despite having Charles Clay atop their depth chart at tight end, could be looking for an additional offensive weapon.

Dolphins head coach Joe Philbin has a history with Finley, as the two worked together when Philbin was offensive coordinator for the Packers during Finley's first four NFL seasons.

Finley has yet to be cleared for football activities, though he is scheduled to undergo X-rays and an MRI in the coming week, where results will be sent out to teams interested in signing the tight end.
