For a player who has reportedly endured a slide down teams' draft boards since his underwhelming pro day, Louisville quarterback Teddy Bridgewater is lining up some visits with a handful of the teams currently slated to select in the top 10 picks of the draft.

After news surfaced that Bridgewater will be meeting with the Jacksonville Jaguars next week for a second meeting and workout, ESPN's Chris Mortensen is reporting that Bridgewater met with the Houston Texans, who hold the No. 1 pick in the 2014 NFL draft, earlier this week for an hour-long private visit.

Bridgewater has been looked at by quarterback-needy teams who hold high draft picks, but does that mean he can still be a high selection despite the buzz indicating otherwise? Not exactly.

Teams at the top of the draft looking at Bridgewater will get a sense of whether or not they would be willing to trade back into the first round if his predicted draft-day slide comes to fruition. If Bridgewater is available in the final 10 picks of the first round, don't be surprised to see the Texans, who are now believed to be leaning toward taking Jadeveon Clowney with the No. 1 pick, jump back into the first to make Bridgewater their guy.

It would be a best-case scenario for Houston to fill two key needs with high-level players, and the aggressive move would really ignite the fan base.
