Not even a month ago, former Louisville quarterback Teddy Bridgewater appeared destined to be a top-five pick in the NFL Draft, possibly even higher.
But in the weeks since, Bridgewater has fallen considerably in many mock drafts, some pundits suggesting he could fall towards the bottom of the first round to the Cleveland Browns with the 26th overall pick.
It's a drastic fall from grace for the athletic Bridgewater, but the one-time Cardinal doesn't appear concerned about the rumors of his draft stock slipping, according to NFL.com.
"It feels like it's been years since I touched the football and played a game in pads," Bridgewater said. "I've been positive throughout the entire process, only worrying about the things that I can control. Basically, I look at every day as a blessing and a new opportunity.
Bridgewater's roller coaster of rumors seems to go up and down daily, with some believing the quarterback won't get by the Minnesota Vikings, who select eighth, while others believe he'll have a "long wait."
