For the vast majority of their existence, the St. Louis Rams have used some form of gold and blue in their uniforms but that could change in the near future.
Engaging with fans on social media Tuesday night, Rams executive vice president and COO Kevin Demoff hinted the team was looking at a uniform change and the franchise's throwback blue and white uniforms could be a long-term option.
The Rams of course have worn their current gold and blue uniforms since the 2002 season, and prior to that wore a yellow and blue combination dating back to 1973. However, before that, the then-Los Angeles Rams wore a rather popular white and blue combination which could be an option for the new threads.
The Rams wore the white/blue uniform style for seven seasons, sandwiched in between the yellow/blue color combination.
Demoff said that he expected a major overhaul within five seasons
