With the 2014 NFL draft just over one week away, the No. 1 overall pick remains a mystery. For weeks it had appeared that the Texans would be drafting a quarterback with the top pick, but the recent buzz has indicated the team prefers South Carolina defensive end Jadeveon Clowney.
According to John McClain of the Houston Chronicle, the Texans decision will likely come down to either Clowney or Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel.
There is also the possibility of a trade, however.

The Detroit Lions and Atlanta Falcons have been discussed as potential trade partners, with the Falcons reportedly targeting Clowney. The Texans' draft plan, obviously, would change if they were to move from the No. 1 pick in the draft.
