Tennessee Titans safety Bernard Pollard has never been one to hold his tongue in regards to his opponents, and apparently that sentiment ranges towards his own team as well.

The veteran, who was drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs in 2006, has bounced around the past few seasons, eventually finding a home with the Titans in 2013. He was hopeful the young roster would emerge as an up-and-coming squad when he signed, but things quickly turned sour and the Titans struggled to put together a disappointing 4-12 record.

That led to Pollard venting his frustrations with the team, though he does seem to believe 2014 will be a better year overall.

"We have been a team where we have sucked butt," he said, per TitanInsider. "And I'm just being perfectly honest with you. We have sucked butt, and it's time for us to turn that corner. Like I said last year and this year, we're gonna knock the piss out of you.

"It's gonna be fair. It's gonna be within the lines -- I may get one outside the lines or whatever -- but that's just who I am and that's just who we are. It's going to be a lot of fun doing it," he said.

The former second-round pick had 99 tackles and three interceptions last season.
