2014 NFL draft: Cleveland Browns 'enamored' with Teddy Bridgewater

Cleveland appears to be out of the running for Johnny Manziel after a report from Fox Sports' Jay Glazer dispelled rumors to the contrary on Tuesday, and the Browns may have decided to set their eyes on another quarterback instead with their second first-round pick at No. 26 overall.

According to the Cleveland Plain Dealer, Browns general manager Ray Farmer is "enamored" with Louisville quarterback Teddy Bridgewater and would like to land him later in the first round.

Cleveland is so interested in Bridgewater, whose draft stock has slipped in recent months, that the report states the team has also explored moving up from the No. 26 spot to ensure it lands Bridgewater with one of its two Day 1 selections.

But what about the team's pick at No. 4 overall?

The Plain Dealer's Mary Kay Cabot added that in a "perfect world," the Browns would land Auburn offensive tackle Greg Robinson at No. 4 and then have Bridgewater fall into their laps at No. 26. They could then look at wide receiver or running back with their first pick of the second round.

If Robinson is unavailable, the team could make wide receiver its first focus and target either Sammy Watkins or Mike Evans before drawing from a deep pool of available quarterbacks later on.

We will find out for certain which direction the Browns choose to go and whether or not that dream scenario plays out on Thursday night.
