Minnesota Vikings offensive coordinator Norv Turner said that rookie quarterback Teddy Bridgewater should have been a top 10 pick.

Bridgewater fell to Minnesota and was the 32nd and final pick of the first round of the NFL draft. He completed 71 percent of his passes for 3,970 yards and 31 touchdowns as a junior at Louisville.

"I think he probably should've gone in the first 10 picks," Turner said, via the team's website. "He probably should've gone at least in the first half of the first round, and then we're sitting there with an opportunity to get him when we did, it was a bonus to me.”

Bridgewater’s stock dropped after a below-average showing at his pro day. Bridgewater will be in a battle with veteran Matt Cassel for the starting nod for the Vikings' Week 1 contest against the St. Louis Rams.
