Dallas relied on him as its No. 1 defender ... he's got a lot more help now [with the Broncos] and I think that'll serve him well."
• Team due for a regression in 2014. "The NFC West is going to be absolutely brutal," says Doug Farrar, "and I wouldn't be surprised if the San Francisco 49ers went under .500 this year."
• Which Harbaugh (Jim or John) brother is facing more off-field distractions right now? "I don't think John Harbaugh is going anywhere unless things really implode there [in Baltimore] in rapid fashion," says Chris Burke. "This has been a troubling offseason for the Ravens. ... Certainly we've seen the Ravens play that "Us against the world" mentality before, it took them to the Super Bowl just a couple years ago. And they've always thrived on having that extra edge, that was Ray Lewis' M.O."
