Eagles wide receiver Riley Cooper says he is still embarrassed by racial insensitive comments he made last summer. Cooper was caught on video last summer at a Kenny Chesney concert using a racial slur.
Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Riley Cooper says he is still embarrassed by the racially insensitive comments he made last summer.
Cooper was caught on video at a Kenny Chesney concert, saying "I will fight every (expletive) here."
Cooper was fined by the team for the comments.
"Obviously, I was very embarrassed. I'm still embarrassed about the situation," Cooper said, via NFL.com. "Words hurt, and I'm crushed by it. But it felt good to know my teammates were supporting me."

Cooper caught 47 passes for 835 yards and eight touchdowns last season for the Eagles and was rewarded with a five-year, $25 million deal in the offseason.
