New Orleans Saints running back Mark Ingram says he wants to be the best ever at his position.
“The sky’s the limit, man. I want to be the best back to ever play the freakin’ game of football,” Ingram said, according to ESPN.com.
Ingram, 24, rushed for 386 yards on 78 carries last season.
The 5-10, 215-pound back has recorded 11 rushing touchdowns and averaged 4.1 yards per carry and 39.5 yards per game over three seasons with New Orleans.
Ingram starred at Alabama, winning the Heisman Trophy and a national championship, and was selected in the first round of the 2011 draft.
