Detroit Lions preseason schedule, TV coverage
Detroit opens its 2014 preseason schedule at home against Cleveland before going on the road to Oakland. They'll return home to take on Jacksonville before closing out the preseason at Buffalo. They'll begin the regular season on September 8 at home against the New York Giants.
Last season, the Lions went 7-9, finishing third in the NFC North and missing the playoffs. The team drafted tight end Eric Ebron in the first round of this year's draft and signed wide receiver Golden Tate in free agency.
