Atlanta Falcons rookie linebacker Marquis Spruill tore his ACL in practice Wednesday and will miss the entire season, the team announced Thursday.
Spruill was a fifth-round pick out of Syracuse. The 6-foot-1, 230-pound linebacker was an honorable mention on the All-ACC team his senior year. In 2013, he recorded 66 solo tackles, 14.5 tackles for a loss and 5.5 sacks.

Spruill was listed as third-string on the Falcons' first unofficial depth chart of the season.
