The Carolina Panthers released their first depth chart of the preseason, ahead of their Aug. 8 preseason opener against Buffalo. Jerricho Cotchery, who signed a two-year contract with Carolina in March, is listed as the starter at one wide receiver spot, while Rookie Kelvin Benjamin is listed as the starter at one of the other receiver spots. Veteran Colin Cole is listed as the starter at one of the defensive tackle spots.

Second-year Oregon product Kenjon Barner is listed as the starter at both kick and punt returner.
