He finished last season with 51 catches for 712 yards and 10 touchdowns as Cincinnati's No. 2 receiver behind A.J. Green. Jones was listed as a starting receiver on the Bengals' depth chart last week.
Cincinnati has a bye during Week 4, so the team expects Jones to miss three regular season games with the injury.
