Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson to make preseason debut
Detroit Lions head coach Jim Caldwell said he plans to play wide receiver Calvin Johnson in the team’s preseason game against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Friday.
It will be Johnson’s first action in the preseason after he sat out Detroit's first two games. He is working his way back from knee and finger surgeries this offseason.
Johnson is coming off an All-Pro season where he caught 84 passes for 1,492 yards and 12 touchdowns.
Caldwell said he was wasn’t sure about defensive end ZiggyAnsah’s status for the game.
