Sammy Watkins returns to practice, does not participate in team drills

Buffalo Bills rookie wide receiver Sammy Watkins returned to practice Tuesday, but did not participate in team drills, reports ESPN's Mike Rodak.
Watkins left the Bills' third preseason game with a rib injury and did not practice with the team Monday. He underwent X-rays on his ribs, but the team did not release the results, and coach Doug Marrone would not give a timetable for Watkins' return.

Rodak also reported that Watkins did not run routes in non-contact drills.
Watkins has three catches for 21 yards in three preseason games.
