Chiefs linebacker Joe Mays expected to miss six weeks
The 29-year-old McGlynn, fourth-round pick of the Eagles in 2008, is entering his seventh year in the NFL. He missed the entire 2009 season with a torn ACL.
During his career, McGlynn has played for the Eagles, Cincinnati Bengals and Indianapolis Colts, starting 48 games.
The Chiefs open the regular season Sept. 7 against the Tennessee Titans.
