The 33-year-old battled hamstring issues during training camp and played in only one preseason game — the finale against the Bears, in which he had a 27-yard reception.

Burleson is an 11-year veteran of the Vikings, Seahawks and Lions, and has 5,630 career receiving yards and 39 touchdowns. He also has three career punt-return TDs and one on a kick return.
He had 461 yards and one touchdown in nine games last season for Detroit.
