Jets wide receiver Quincy Enunwa was arrested for simple assault on Sunday after a dispute between him and a woman.
New York Jets wide receiver Quincy Enunwa was arrested for simple assault on Sunday after a dispute between him and a woman, the New York Daily News reports.
He was New York's sixth-round draft pick in the 2014 NFL Draft and was signed to the team's practice squad.
According to report, the incident occurred at the Wyndham Hamilton Park Hotel in Florham Park, N.J. Enunwa was later processed and released.
Enunwa pleaded not guilty to a domestic violence charge on Wednesday, according to TMZ.
“I wish I could answer your questions, but it’s a pending legal matter,” Enunwa said to New York Daily News. “I can only say it’s a pending legal matter.”
