Browns could use Johnny Manziel package against Saints
Cleveland Browns coach Mike Pettine said Wednesday that the team could use a package involving rookie quarterback Johnny Manziel in Sunday's game against the New Orleans Saints.
Manziel did not play in the Browns' season-opening loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Starter Brian Hoyer completed 19 of 31 pass attempts for 230 yards and one touchdown, helping lead the Browns back from a 27-3 deficit before the Steelers ultimately won, 30-27.

Cleveland selected Manziel with the No. 22 pick in this year's draft. Over four preseason games, the Texas A&M product and former Heisman Trophy winner completed 30 of his 59 pass attempts for 296 yards and two touchdowns. Manziel has reportedly struggled to grasp the Browns' playbook.
