Carolina Panthers running back DeAngelo Williams is questionable for Sunday's game against the Detroit Lions with a thigh injury, the team announced.
Williams did not practice Thursday or Friday. Williams had 14 carries for 72 yards in Carolina's 20-14 Week 1 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

If Williams can't play against the Lions, backup Jonathan Stewart would get the starting nod.
The Panthers also listed quarterback Cam Newton (ribs), defensive end Greg Hardy (non-injury) and tight end Greg Olsen (non-injury) as probable. All three were full participants in Friday's practice.
