According to the report, Boyd is being considered for the team's practice squad, with Eli Manning and Ryan Nassib entrenched as the top two quarterbacks.

The Giants have also worked out quarterbacks Matt Scott and Tyler Wilson.
Boyd was waived by the Jets at the end of August when the team cut its roster down to 53 players. In the preseason, the 23-year-old was 8-of-17 for 98 yards and a touchdown.
