Jaguars' locker room reportedly wants Blake Bortles as the starting QB
Players inside the Jaguars' locker room are reportedly calling for Blake Bortles to start as quarterback, according to Bleacher Report.
The team lost both of its games so far this season -- road losses to the Eagles and Redskins -- and heads into Week 3 with a matchup at home vs. the Colts. The team doesn't want Chad Henne as the starter, the report said, in part because he is holding the ball for too long and taking too many sacks. He's taken 13 sacks so far this season -- 10 vs. the Redskins and another three vs. the Eagles.

The Jaguars want to hold off on starting the rookie Bortles for as long as possible. As the report indicates, Jacksonville's plan was to sit him the whole season. But with Henne not looking great his first two games, Bortles could get his first NFL start sooner rather than later.
The 22-year-old was selected No. 3 overall overall out of UCF.
