The Giantsannounced Tuesday that they have placed wide receiver Jerrel Jernigan on season-ending injured reserve.
Jernigan sprained his foot in Sunday's 25-14 loss to the Arizona Cardinals. He will not undergo surgery.
The 5-foot-9, 181-pound Jernigan caught six passes for 40 yards over two games this season.

Linebacker Jon Beason, who left the game in the third quarter, re-aggravated a previous foot injury.
New York also placed cornerback Walter Thurmond on season-ending IR.
The Giants, which are 0-2 with losses to the Lions and Cardinals, host the Texans on Sunday.
