Cowboys OT Darrion Weems to be placed on IR due to shoulder injury
Dallas Cowboys offensive tackle Darrion Weems will be placed on injured reserve with a shoulder injury.

Dallas Cowboys offensive tackle Darrion Weems will be placed on injured reserve due to a shoulder injury, head coach Jason Garrett announced on Wednesday.
Weems is scheduled to undergo surgery later this week. He injured his shoulder early in training camp and has not practiced since.

Cornerback Orlando Scandrick, who has been reinstated under the NFL's new drug policy, will take Weems' place on the roster.
Weems, 26, was listed as the No. 3 left tackle on the Cowboys' depth chart.
