The Arizona Cardinals placed linebacker John Abraham on season-ending injured reserve because of concussions, the team announced Friday.
Abraham did not pass the league’s mandated concussion protocol after suffering a head injury in the Cardinals’ Week 1 victory over the San Diego Chargers. He left the team briefly, which allowed the Cardinals to use a temporary roster exemption.
